After being hounded by reporters for his experiences as a drag queen, Santos was forced to give in to this incriminating evidence; This is a new development in the scandal that has plagued the 34-year-old US congressman from Nassau County.
Back in New York over the weekend, he admitted to a local ABC affiliate that he was in fact the drag performer known as “Kitara Ravache” at events at the Brazil.
However, he said he “dressed up only once” at a festival, although many and varied images and videos of his drag costume have since been circulated in the American media.
“I was young and having fun at a festival – so attack me for a life!” he told ABC 7. It wasn’t just “once”.
According to another drag artist, Eula Rochard, who says she knew him in Brazil, George Santos competed for the title of Miss Gay Rio de Janeiro, only to lose the 2008 contest.
“The beauty pageant is for boys who dress like women. They are beautiful. The boys are beautiful. And he lost because he was fat,” she told Insider.
According to Rochard, George Santos wasn’t a professional drag queen, but he did dress up from time to time. Incidentally, she has Santos identity in a video of the Niterói Pride parade in 2005.
He reportedly boasted about his father’s wealth, but his mother was a maid. “He was a big dreamer,” said Rochard. “He wanted to be famous no matter what.”
Not the only hidden fact
Obviously, George Santos’ drag queen performances are just the tip of the iceberg of his lies. In fact, in recent weeks, the American has become known for fantasizing about several key details about his past life and resume.
He admitted to falsely claiming to have worked at Citigroup and Goldman Sachs and to have graduated from two New York colleges. He is also accused of fabricating his grandparents’ alleged Jewish ancestry and stories about their escape from the Holocaust.
He also claimed his mother died when one of the World Trade Center towers collapsed, which turned out to be false. In fact, the list of Santos’ lies seems to be growing by the day as more reporters delve into the Republican’s background.
The recent media obsession that I am a drag queen or “perform” as a drag queen is categorically false.
The media continues to make outrageous claims about my life while I work to deliver results.
I don’t let that distract me or worry me.

Many members of Congress from both parties have called for his resignation, saying voters don’t know the man they supported given his many lies about his past. Nonetheless, he insisted he would not resign, even though his financial reports could potentially land him in trouble with law enforcement.
The said New York Republican has taken ultra-conservative positions that are considered anti-LGBTQ, despite describing himself as gay. Santos employees did not comment on the situation.
