It is with great sadness that we recently learned that Béatrice Picard has left after more than 30 years as Marge Simpson’s spokesperson.

Despite the fact that it’s hard to imagine the Quebec version of The Simpsons without the raspy voice of Ms. Picard, the show, as they say, needs to go on.
Shortly after the announcement of Béatrice’s departure, we learned that Chantal Baril would be taking on the role of the blue-haired matriarch.

On Monday, Teletoon revealed on its Facebook page that last year an episode in which Chantal voiced Marge aired ahead of the holiday and that no one noticed.

They shared an excerpt from the episode and it’s misleading how successful it is.
In addition to her voice work, Ms. Baril has acted in numerous films and series since the late 1980s.
