Paris Hilton sought advice from Kim Kardashian before welcoming her first child via surrogacy.
On Monday, the 41-year-old heiress revealed that she and husband Carter Reum had had a baby boy after undergoing IVF with him nearly two years ago, as suggested by friend Kim Kardashian.
Speaking on The Trend Reporter with Mara podcast in January 2021, the socialite said the 42-year-old reality star – who had three of her four children via IVF – recommended her own doctor.
According to Vogue, Kim used IVF magician Dr. Andy Huang from Beverly Hills.

‘[Kim was the one] who told me about it,” said the entrepreneur. “I didn’t even know anything about it.”
She added, “I’m glad she gave me that advice and introduced me to her doctor.”
The Paris: The Memoir author revealed that she and then-boyfriend Carter Reum, 41, were considering having twins and had already undergone egg retrieval.

“We did IVF, so I can choose twins if I want,” she said. “I have already undergone the egg extraction procedure. It was tough, but I knew it would be worth it. I’ve done it a few times.’
She added, “I just do it together and I have a partner who’s just so supportive and makes me feel like a princess the whole time … it wasn’t that bad.”
Then the Stars Are Blind singer, who has previously been engaged three times, opened up about the entrepreneur being her “soulmate.”

A month after the interview, the couple got engaged on February 13.
They wed in November 2021 in a lavish wedding ceremony at her grandfather’s Bel Air estate.

Due to their high-risk and difficult pregnancies, the former couple chose surrogacy to have their five-year-old daughter Chicago and three-year-old son Psalm.
