JoJo Siwa took to TikTok Tuesday to insist she has no regrets appearing on Lifetime reality series Dance Moms.
The 19-year-old Omaha, Nebraska native, who just celebrated two years as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, made her debut on Abby Lee Miller’s series Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition before appearing on her flagship series Dance Moms, which helped her launch her career.
After posting a video last week titled “Reasons I Regret Dance Moms,” she insisted that wasn’t really the case, but revealed an unusual rule from the show — not to watch the film like Miller did had asked.

“Okay, that’s the truth. I have no regrets at all about doing Dance Moms or even being a part of Dance Moms,” Siwa began.
“It made me who I am today and I have nothing but love for the show,” Siwa continued, before revealing her Carrie regrets.
“However… I have one regret from my time with Dance Moms, and that’s not seeing the movie Carrie,” Siwa admitted.

“If you’ve ever seen that scene from Dance Moms where I say the quote, ‘Well if you yell at me, I’ll cry,’ it’s because Abby yelled at me for not watching the movie, of that one my dance was inspired, which was the horror film Carrie,” Siwa explained.
She added that she didn’t see the film “because I was scared, I was 12, I was in a hotel room,” and said she felt “I could play the character better if I saw the film “.

She recently started a new relationship with TikTok model Savannah Demers just a month after breaking up with Avery Cyrus.
