Lisa Curry reveals daughter Jaimi’s ashes are scattered around the world after her tragic death aged 33 as she shares a moving post: ‘This is my way of remembering her’
Lisa Curry shared a heartbreaking video on Wednesday, revealing she had scattered her daughter Jaimi’s ashes in scenic locations around the world.
The retired Olympic swimmer, 60, posted the bittersweet video to Instagram of her releasing her daughter’s ashes under a tree in Canada’s snow-capped Yukon Mountains.
Lisa is supported by her husband Mark Tabone, who holds her hands as she tearfully pays the tribute to her eldest daughter at the base of the snow-covered tree.

She captioned the footage with some moving words: “I decided a while ago that I would take Jaimi to any place that is incredibly amazing.
“We started at Kawana Beach, her favorite beach, and Mt. Coolum. Then she went to Paris, San Diego, Mt. Kosciusko and now the Yukon.’
“Those of us who are in this sad situation of losing a child all have our own way of remembering those we love. this is my way Our beautiful Jaimi. Never forget. Take a rest. Happy. For free. Forever in nature in the Yukon, Canada,” she added.

Jaimi, Lisa’s eldest daughter with ex-husband Grant Kenny, died in 2020 after an 18-year battle with alcohol addiction and an eating disorder.
Lisa and Grant Kenny married in 1984, separated in 2009 and had three children during their marriage: son Jett, 28, and daughters Morgan, 31, and Jaimi.
Jaimi died on September 14, 2020 at Sunshine Coast University Hospital surrounded by her family.

Announcing the sad news on social media, Lisa wrote: “Our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long lasting illness and passed away peacefully in hospital yesterday morning with her loving family by her side.”
Lisa suffered heartbreak again in April after losing her mother Pat aged 86.
