OLD-FASHIONED ELEGANCE – Smiling and relaxed, they chatted with doctors and nurses who demonstrated new tools for monitoring the fetus during labor and even simulated childbirth with pregnant women and artificial babies. Kate has chosen an elegant but very classic look, perhaps not to clash with the princess, who has a rather old-fashioned style. The Duchess wore an oat suit by Self Portrait (€450), a matching clutch bag, a pair of Gianvito Rossi (one of her favorite brands), earrings and a pearl necklace. While Anna chose one of her usual long coats with a matching scarf. Kate has had her partner conduct the visit and ask most of the questions, as protocol dictates should you be in the presence of a king of seniority.

CHARACTER – Her Majesty’s second child is known for having a rather gruff and rough temper and is famous for her answers to reporters, guests and other royals. With Kate, on the other hand, she seemed in love and on good terms, at least in favor of cameras. She even said that during one of her pregnancies (she is the mother of Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall) she tripped and almost fell over fears the fetus would get stuck on her side. In the end everything was fine. Who knows if this unprecedented couple will be a permanent presence at public engagements. The Queen, at Charles’s suggestion, is trying to fill the void left by Meghan and Harry and third son Andrea (whom the city of York deprived of the honor it did him for his wedding). She even sent her niece Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi to Sweden to meet Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip.
