Park Ride has a mechanical failure and people stand upside down for ten minutes

A ride at an amusement park in Fuyang, China broke down last Sunday (22), leaving more than 15 people standing on their heads for about ten minutes.

According to Indian website NDTV, the group was trapped in an attraction in the park that rotates completely on its own axis in a kind of pendulum. However, the toy just stopped at the highest point of the arch, causing people to keep their feet up for a few minutes.

The video, which shows the moments of suspense, went viral on the internet and was the subject of websites and newspapers around the world. In the pictures you can see park employees climbing onto the toy to try to restart the attraction.

According to NDTV, the location’s administration went on to say that the breakage was due to the toy being overweight, although there is no evidence of overcrowding in the pictures.

The park also reiterated that everyone affected by the mishap has been reimbursed and that all future medical expenses will be reimbursed by the company responsible for the attraction.
