The accusation for Fabrizio Corona: “attempted blackmail”. The woman had approached him about editorial and promotional services for a book to be published. The Defense: They were having an affair, an ongoing civil case. Videos and chats delivered to the Carabinieri
There is a new investigation against Fabrizio Corona launched by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office that has emerged from a woman’s complaint and concerns material on fire: a sexy film. The facts. The woman – married with children – had contacted the former star photographer last year for editorial and advertising services for a book to be published and, according to the advertisement, had allegedly been blackmailed by the former “king of the paparazzi”. As mentioned, at the center of the story is an intimate video that portrays her and that he, Corona, made. In recent days, the former photo agent has been the subject of a search by the carabinieri in the investigation coordinated by prosecutor Antonio Cristillo. There are two criminal offenses: attempted extortion and attempted fraud.
The civil process
But was it really like that, Advocate Chiesa? “No, she wanted to publish a book and it was published,” replied Corona’s lawyer Ivano Chiesa. The defense attorney added, stressing that “an ongoing civil case” was already underway between the two in relation to the contract for the Corona Agency’s services. According to the lawyer, the former VIP photographer also told her that “if he had been forced to defend himself”, in the civil case “the personal relationship they had would also come out”, including that little film that – according to Corona – documented the secret relationship between the two. Coming back to the complaint of the woman, who had already paid the bill to Corona’s agency for the book’s “sponsorship”, that he had eventually blackmailed her with this video for fear of possible dissemination.
Video and chat with the Carabinieri
“Fabrizio delivered the videos and chats between them to the police – said Chiesa – he has nothing to hide and there are also witnesses”. And again: “I’m waiting for him to be subpoenaed by the prosecutor’s office, so maybe we can immediately avoid another gigantic trial with a foregone conclusion. In nine out of ten cases, civil law disputes also result in criminal charges. And this is a joke ».
