The character Lana Lang was introduced in “Smallville: Adventures of Superboy” as Clark Kent’s first love. The series from Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the same creators of Wandinha on Netflix, was quite successful in the early 2000s.
It focuses on Superman’s youth, from his arrival on the planet by a meteor shower to his entry into the famous Justice League. Lana was played by the actress in the series Kristin Kreuk.
The actress, also known for her work in ‘Beauty and the Beast’, has joined the cast of the new Amazon Prime series called ‘gripper“. She also appeared in “O Peso da Verdade,” a legal drama released in 2018 that won four seasons.
Born in Vancouver, Canada, the star is currently 40 years old. In an interview for his former costar Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast, Kreuk said he wasn’t handling fame very well during the Smallville days.
“I withdrew from the spotlight a bit because I didn’t like how famous we were when we did ‘Smallville.’ I kind of changed my own life and didn’t get certain roles.”
