Prince Andrew appeared carefree today as he rode through the grounds of Windsor Castle after Ghislaine Maxwell’s family said the disgraced king could not have had bath sex with Virginia Giuffre because the tub was too small.
The 62-year-old Duke of York was frequently spotted on horseback trotting through the greenery near the royal residence and smiling broadly as he drove his Range Rover around the grounds.
Andrew reportedly slept with Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Giuffre, when she was just 17 on March 10, 2001.
The allegations eventually shattered the prince’s reputation and he was stripped of his public duties, titles and patronage.

At the center of Ms Giuffre’s claims was a bathroom – specifically the bathtub – in Maxwell’s stable house in London’s Belgravia.
She claims she had sex with Prince Andrew in the property’s bathroom, one of three occasions in 2001 that she claims she was coerced into sexual relations with him on orders from the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell.
The three double bedroom property is also said to be where Andrew was photographed with his arm around the bare waist of Roberts, one of the victims of convicted pedophile Epstein.
However, the Maxwell family said the bathtub was too small for the Duke and Ms Giuffre to engage in sexual activity, The Telegraph reported.
They revealed the dimensions of the tub to the newspaper – the bottom of the tub is 1,359 mm by 380 mm.
The family also created a replica photo showing what two people the size of Prince Andrew and Ms Giuffre would look like in the bath.
In her memoir The Billionaire’s Playboy Club, Ms. Giuffre recalled her visit to Maxwell’s home in Belgravia and wrote: “I turned on the faucets for the tub and the heat from the water began to mist the small room. . . I tried to make the best of my youth to try to appear seductive and gradually began stripping off my clothes bit by bit. . . He loved every second of it as I walked up to him where he waited and watched and then started undressing him.’
She also described the bathroom as having a “Victorian-style bath in the center of the room, set atop a beige marble tile floor.”
Ms Giuffre claimed that after being at the Tramps nightclub with Andrew, where he “rained sweat all over her,” they returned to Maxwell’s home in Belgravia to have sex.
It comes as Prince Andrew claimed to friends that a “mysterious development” will restore his disgraced reputation in the coming months.

The Duke of York is regularly voted the most disliked member of the royal family.
The king’s brother has assured friends that a development is coming that will restore his reputation.
If not quite the heroic status he enjoyed as a helicopter pilot in the Falklands War, at least what he was before he was photographed talking to Epstein in New York’s Central Park shortly after his release from prison in 2009 a bewilderingly short sentence for sex crimes.
When shooting, the Duke of York speaks most freely. “He says details will be released that will change people’s perceptions of him.”
“He says it will happen next month.”
Although Andrew, 62, did not elaborate further, the Mail on Sunday reported over the weekend that he would launch a dramatic bid to overturn the multi-million dollar settlement he reached with the woman who accused him of sexual assault.
It is understood Andrew consulted lawyers to get Ms Giuffre to withdraw her allegations and possibly get an apology.
He was inspired to act after Ms Giuffre dropped her lawsuit against another man whom she accused of sexual assault and admitted she “may have made a mistake” in identifying it.
But Ms Giuffre has always maintained her case against the Duke was valid.
Andrew’s relationship with Epstein was revisited in a bombshell interview with Ghislaine Maxwell on TalkTV.
Maxwell said from prison Prince Andrew was a “dear friend” and said the allegations against him were unfounded.
In her first TV interview since being jailed for child trafficking, the British socialite also claimed the infamous photo of her, Andrew and wife Giuffre was a “fake”.
Andrew is expected to claim he never met Ms Giuffre and argue that the photo was fake in his future legal action.

However, several top forensic experts who have examined the photo, which shows Andrew with his arm around a young Ms. Giuffre, have said they believe it is genuine.
Ms Giuffre claims she was groomed by pedophile Epstein and his associate Maxwell and was forced to have sex with him on a number of occasions.
Prince Andrew denied ever meeting Ms Giuffre in a disastrous Newsnight interview in 2019.
He famously claimed that he was at a Pizza Express in Woking at the time of one of the incidents mentioned by his accuser.
The late Queen Elizabeth’s son has endured a series of humiliations since his car crash Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis in November 2019 as institutions cut ties with him.
Fears are also growing that King Charles’ coronation could be overshadowed by Ms. Giuffre’s memoir.
Multiple reports claim Ms Giuffre has signed a book deal worth millions and it may be released just weeks before the historic ceremony.
Plans have been drawn up to “maximize” the book’s release, with a publisher’s insider claiming, “There will be no greater occasion for your book than the coronation of the king.” Virginia Giuffre and attorney David Boies are in federal court in New York in August 2019 York pictured
She and Andrew, who has consistently denied the allegations, are said to have agreed to a gag clause that expires in March, a year after they settled their civil rape lawsuit against him.
Publishing insiders said Ms Giuffre’s memoir could be published just weeks before Charles’ coronation, telling The Mirror: “There will be no greater occasion for her book than the king’s coronation.”
“All eyes will be on the royal family in the weeks leading up to Charles’ coronation,” the insider claimed, noting that “when it comes to book releases, it’s all about timing.”
Ms Giuffre’s publisher wants to capitalize on the fact that a global audience will be speaking about the coronation on May 6th and what royal celebrations Andrew will be invited to.
The insider added that Ms Giuffre’s memoir, which it says took 12 years to write, may not be able to directly reiterate her allegations about the prince, but it will embarrass Andrew, the royals and the biggest day of his own even further brothers.’
Ms. Giuffre’s book deal is said to be worth “millions,” multiple sources told the New York Post.
