The 21-year-old forward was recalled by the big club on January 7 but had to wait two weeks before finally making his debut. Little used at first, Pelletier gained confidence and even had the opportunity to hold his own on the front row with Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri.
The left winger didn’t collect any points and maintained a neutral +0 differential.
Pelletier, a first-round pick (26th overall) by the Flames in the 2019 draft, is in his second season as a pro. With the Calgary Wranglers of the American League, he scored 34 points, including 15 goals, in 31 games.
Forward Walker Duehr and defender Dennis Gilbert will also report to the Flames farm.
