11 sexy singletons are currently looking for love in South Africa after months of preparation, promo shots and cleaning.
The debut shoots have never been great and most of the pictures we see don’t look anything like the people we end up meeting at the villa.
Whether it’s the bad light or the wrong angles, islanders are furious with their dodgy professional Love Island photo every year.
From Millie Court to Adam Collard, many islanders have complained, with some even going so far as to say the photos will “haunt” them until they die.
Here, Web takes a look at all the times the Love Island photographer has gotten the islanders dirty over the years.
Love Island: As the new Love Island series kicks off, we got our first glimpse of the 11 new contestants in their professional promotional photo before entering the mansion
Molly-Mae Hague – Season Five
Molly-Mae, 23, burst into the villa during Love Island’s fifth season and has since become one of the island’s most successful.
Despite her iconic hot tub entrance, the official photo released ahead of Molly-Mae’s arrival didn’t do her justice what she deserved.
However, she wasn’t deterred when she finished second with boyfriend Tommy Fury, with whom she is now expecting a baby.

Millie Court – Season 7
Love Island winner Millie, 26, hated her promotional image so much she called out the Love Island photographer, claiming it will “haunt me until I die”.
Millie, who appeared on the show in 2021, uploaded it to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “This picture will haunt me until I die… Sorry but it just isn’t.” The award for the worst press photo in Love Island history goes to me.
“What is my hair and makeup!!!! My friends told me when this picture was posted everyone was like who the hell is this 40 year old? Looks like a mother dropping off her two kids at the gate.”
Shocking: Millie Court hated her promotional image so much she called the Love Island photographer and claimed it will haunt me until I die.
Indiah Polack – Season Eight
Indiyah was part of Season 8, in which the 11 singletons posed with giant flags for their promotional shots – something that had never been done before.
Devoted viewers criticized the photographer responsible for failing to capture their “good perspectives”.
One person wrote: “These Love Island promotional images are not. I went to each candidate’s Instagram and saw very different people.
“Tbh, the Love Island photographer has been getting her dirty for YEARS. You always look so much better than those promotional pics lmfao,” added another.

Siânnise Fudge – Season Six
Siannise walked into the Love Island mansion on day one of series six but looked completely different from her promo shots.
The lighting in the professional photo didn’t do her justice when compared to her own sizzling selfies.
She stepped into the spotlight after being crowned Winter Love Island 2020 runner-up alongside ex-boyfriend Luke Trotman.
The couple split in November 2021 as they struggled to make the relationship work – with sources saying it’s been a “really tough” few weeks.

Adam Collard – Seasons four and eight
Adam was the bombshell that shocked the nation when he returned to the ITV2 dating show for series two in 2022.
But it wasn’t all good news for the personal trainer as he coped with poor lighting.
Adam, who wreaked havoc on the 2018 Love Island series before leaving with Zara McDermott, thought he’d found love with Paige Thorne the second time around, but shortly after leaving the villa he was reported to have cheated on her.
