With 2022 marked by the return of major festivals and touring by global artists in the wake of the Covid19 pandemic, this year promises to be even greater. Attractions that have had to be postponed, like Coldplay, and others that have been awaited for years, like The Weeknd, will move stages across Brazil. Check out some of the shows already scheduled for the coming months below:
Backstreet Boys January
The boy band, owners of hits like I Want It That Way, will play four shows across the state in 2023. The first will take place in Curitiba on January 25th. Then it’s off to São Paulo, where they’ll be performing on the 27th and 28th, the first date is already sold out. The Americans will conclude their visit to Brazil on January 29 in Belo Horizonte
Imagine Dragons February and March
Due to vocalist Dan Reynolds’ health issues, the band pushed back last year’s shows to the first quarter. The American tour begins on February 28 in São Paulo at Allianz Parque. Then, on March 2nd, they will come to Curitiba, in Couto Pereira. The tour ends on the 4th in Rio de Janeiro.
Big Time Rush March
The boy band, who found success in the 2010s with a series aimed at teenagers, returned to the stage and will tour Brazil with two shows in March. One on the 3rd in São Paulo and the other on the 5th in Rio de Janeiro, which is already sold out
GRLS Festival March 4th and 5th
The second edition of the festival will take place at the Centro Esportivo Tietê in São Paulo. The main attraction is R&B singer Tinashe, as well as international names like Gayle, Jojo and Mariah Angeliq. Among the Brazilians are Ludmilla, Sandy and Alcione
Coldplay March
The English will practically do a residency in Brazil in March. There will be eleven dates in Germany, ten of which are already completely sold out. Their presentations in São Paulo will be held on the 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 17th and 18th at Morumbi Stadium. Soon after, there will be two shows in Curitiba, on the 21st and 22nd. Then the band will be in Rio de Janeiro on the 25th, 26th and 28th (this is the only date tickets are available).
Paramore March
The legendary rock band will play three shows in Brazil in March. On the 9th, Hayley Williams’ men will travel to Rio de Janeiro. On the 11th and 12th there will be concerts in São Paulo. The first date in São Paulo is completely sold out
Lollapalooza March 24th, 25th and 26th
Confirmed once again for São Paulo at the Interlagos Circuit, the festival will have great attractions for this year. On day one, headliners will be Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X. On Saturday, the only day with soldout tickets so far, there will be Blink182 and Tame Impala. Drake and Rosalía close the tenth edition of the festival. Other attractions such as Willow Smith, Kali Uchis, The 1975, Melanie Martinez, Tove Lo, Pitty and Os Paralamas do Sucesso are also confirmed.
The Weeknd October
The Canadian star will play his first show in Brazil in six years in October. The first appointment will take place on the 7th at the Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro and will end in São Paulo on the 10th and 11th. The presentations will include songs from the After Hours and Dawn FM albums
Tomorrowland October 1214
The world’s largest electronic music festival has announced that it will host a Brazilian edition again in 2023. Between 2014 and 2016, DJs from all over the world DJed in the city of Itu, in the interior of São Paulo. This year the venue will be the same and it promises to be a great comeback.
Confirmed Latin Stars
While they haven’t announced dates yet, both Bad Bunny and Rauw Alejandro have already announced that they will be playing shows in Brazil in 2023
other festivals
Besides Lollapalooza and GRLS, Primavera Sound is another big festival that is expected to be held again in 2023. Depeche Mode, Halsey and Kendrick Lamar are confirmed for this year’s Barcelona edition, which usually mirrors attractions with the Brazilian. Another event that should make headlines is the first edition of The Town, organized only in São Paulo by the same company as Rock in Rio. Rumors have pointed to names ranging from Nicki Minaj and System Of A Down to Rihanna

Although no concerts have yet been announced in the national territory, a few pop divas are fueling fans’ expectations for a performance in Brazil. While Adele verbally promised to end the ’30s era here, Taylor Swift often waved promotions and special releases to the Brazilians. In the case of Beyoncé, what is known is that there will be an extensive world tour. In her case, all that remains is jubilation
