‘Really bad’: Hilaria wrote that Rafael ‘broke his arm really badly playing in the park’ yesterday
“Rafa broke his arm very badly while playing in the park yesterday,” read the caption. “You’ll be seeing him in a cast for quite a while now, so I wanted to warn you. Thank you Lennox Hill ER for taking such good care of our baby. Thank you to the doctors and the nurses for your expertise and kindness.
“It’s a part of parenting that’s so heartbreaking. We were with the babies when it happened and getting that call is heart sinking. His little voice on the phone “I want my mommy”… knowing that even the 20 minutes to reach him is 20 minutes too long.
“Not being able to take away their pain and fear right away… ooooof nothing prepares us for that, right? We were in the hospital until quite late and then made a bed on our floor (wild sleeper, was afraid he might fall out of our bed). I don’t know how many times he called me last night. Eventually, I heard him whisper to himself, recounting what had happened, and over and over saying, “I broke my arm.”
She ended her post on a positive note, writing, “We are relieved that while he will be a long road to recovery, he is certainly on the way [pink hearts emoji].’

The Baldwins have had some trouble lately as Alec is still reeling from the shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie Rust.
Earlier this week, new video surfaced of the moment a distraught and confused Alec was told he accidentally killed Hutchins.
Footage was captured on October 21, 2021 at the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office in New Mexico after Baldwin’s prop cannon fired a live round during a rehearsal for a scene.
He had just finished telling cops he wasn’t pulling the trigger, so he was stunned when he saw what appeared to be a live round of fire from his gun and pierced director Joel Souza’s shoulder before hitting Hutchins in the armpit met.
“I have unfortunate news. She didn’t make it,’ the investigator told him.

He shot back in his seat and said, ‘No!’ before asking if he can be excused to call his wife Hilaria. Baldwin left the room with his head in his hands. Seconds later, he was photographed in the parking lot of the sheriff’s office howling as he spoke to Hilaria.
Then and now, six months later, no one knows how a live bullet entered Baldwin’s gun.
Baldwin was rehearsing a scene for the film Rust on October 21, 2021 when he drew his gun from his costume. It fired and shot Hutchins, 42, in the armpit, mortally wounding her.
The gun fired a live cartridge that had been loaded into what Baldwin assumed was a blank gun.
It comes after Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza suggested Tuesday Baldwin could still be charged with accidentally killing Hutchins.
The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office this week released a wealth of documents and videos from their investigation into the on-set accident.

More new footage of Baldwin also surfaced immediately after the shooting, with the actor telling police he was “the one holding the gun” and asking for a cigarette to calm himself.
The video shows Baldwin sitting in front of the set and smoking the cigarette that was handed to him. He then asks how Hutchins is doing before a police officer says her status is “questionable”.
It comes as Sheriff Mendoza said Baldwin could still be charged because he was the one who handled the gun.
Sheriff Mendoza, who appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday, said: “He was the one who handled the gun that fired the round that resulted in the death.
“We will work with the Attorney’s Office to determine whether there is criminal negligence or a criminal charge. We kind of know who didn’t do their job here. That was one of the key questions.
