Ciudad Juárez.- With music by Juan Gabriel, this morning relatives and loved ones say goodbye to Pablo Aguilera Valadez, brother of ‘Divo de Juárez’ who passed away last Friday in Parácuaro, Michoacán.
The vigil will be held at 9:00 am this Sunday at the Mausoleos Luz Eterna funeral home, where a photograph of Aguilera Valadez and flower arrangements have been placed on one side of the coffin.
Aguilera Valadez died at the age of 83, Silvia Urquidi, a friend and legal representative of Juan Gabriel, told El Diario de Juárez in a telephone interview.
“He had two open-heart surgeries, to the point that last time Alberto thought that Don Pablo was very serious, that Don Pablo was going to die before him and look: Don Pablo outlived him for another six years,” said Urquidi.
He added that the singer-songwriter’s older brother’s children and grandchildren live in this city, and therefore it was decided to bury him on this border.
