After Jenna Ortega was chosen to live the new version of cartoonist Charles Addams’ character on Netflix, she revealed what it was like working with Ricci.
In an interview with Variety, she explained that Wednesday has always been her favorite character, and she was nervous about coming facetoface with someone who has been her face on the big screen for many years.
“I’ve never been so clumsy. I felt like I didn’t know what to say to her. I think she’s a fantastic actress. I know them as Wednesday in my head so it was intimidating. But she is so wonderful and talented she made it so easy.”
The actress also said she felt strange in the scenes where she acted alongside Ricci as she felt like she was dressed up as Wandinha Addams.
“It felt wrong. I wanted to give her the clothes.
