Nate Shue, the son of Amy Robach’s estranged husband Andrew Shue, shared a message after it was announced his stepmother and her colleague and lover TJ Holmes were leaving Good Morning America.

On Saturday, Shue shared a post on his Instagram Stories urging people to “move on,” according to Us Weekly.

The post was a GIF of Jimmy Fallon waving his hands along with the message, “Let’s just get on with it!”

It’s unclear if Shue was directly referring to the drama surrounding his stepmother.

The post came after it was revealed the couple had been fired from ABC after bosses finally made a decision on their future – three months after revealed their illicit off-screen affair.

The TV presenters couldn’t agree with the network on their roles on Good Morning America and their GMA afternoon show, but bosses say “several productive conversations” have been held with the couple.

The hosts were accused by their respective partners of having an affair, and Holmes officially filed for divorce in January.

Robach’s divorce from her husband, former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, 55, is reportedly all but final.

The announcement of the couple’s firing from the network came in an email sent to all network staff on Friday night.

It began, “I want to let you know that we’ve made a decision regarding TJ and Amy.”

“After several productive discussions with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that moving from ABC News is best for everyone. We recognize their talent and dedication over the years and are grateful for their contributions.’

The email also specified how it will later be decided who will co-anchor GMA3 and 20/20.

“I know this has been a distraction for so many of us, but let’s not forget all the great work that continues to make ABC News the #1 news network in America, and that’s on you. I want to thank you again for your patience and professionalism during this time.’ the specified email.

Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, had been accused by bosses of not handling their romance appropriately and waiting too long to disclose it to executives.

Sources say the network felt her “behaviour on set” was “awkward” to ABC employees.

Both received compensation packages.

ABC also accused Robach of having alcohol in her dressing room. Some of the bottles were gifted to her by ABC bosses.

She was also accused of being drunk at work after attending the National College Football Championship game.

“They got what they deserved. It didn’t help that they only had a few friends in the building to fight for any of them,” a staffer told TMZ.

After the affair was exposed by , ABC initially supported their two stars, saying they hadn’t broken any rules.

ABC had until now refrained from giving a public update on decisions surrounding the hosts’ future – and their on-air substitutes continued to say they were just “filling in”.

The co-hosts were suspended from the show after initially weathering the storm after exclusive photos showed they were cozy in November 2022.

They originally returned to the air on Dec. 1, just a day after the scandal broke, and appeared to be cracking subtle jokes about their situation.

Four days later, ABC President Kim Godwin announced that they would not go on the air because their relationship was an “internal and external distraction.”

Robach and Holmes were spotted together in a New York pub last Monday.

The two met for drinks at The Full Shilling Bar on Pearl Street, not far from Holmes’ apartment in the Financial District, where Amy has been spending a lot of time in recent weeks, exclusive photos show.

Arriving separately, they settled inside for the bar’s very comfortable and private seating area, also known as the ‘Snug’ – a small enclosed space typically found in traditional old Irish pubs where patrons could drink discreetly .

The couple were seen enjoying a relaxing break together over Christmas and were pictured kissing by as they headed out to lunch in Miami, Florida.

They had attempted to keep their distance immediately after the story was published, when sources questioned whether the relationship could survive the onslaught of attention.

After revealed both married co-hosts were having an affair, Holmes and Robach’s 12-year marriages remained in shambles – and both couples split after learning about the illicit romance.

Robach shares daughters Ava, 19, and Analise, 16, with ex-husband Tim McIntosh. The duo also divorced in 2008.
