Tim Allen, seen for the first time since Pamela Anderson claimed he flashed her on the set of ABC sitcom Home Improvement, expressed dismay at the actress’s flawed memory.
caught up with the 69-year-old actor as he grabbed a Starbucks with a friend last week – just days after it was revealed that Anderson, 55, in her forthcoming memoir Love, Pamela claims Allen opened his robe to show off his privates to his co-star.
Allen told : “She’s been a great colleague, I can tell you that. She’s a fun girl. Everyone loved her, but everyone at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, so to speak. All of us at Disney/ABC, really.”
Dressed casually in a gray coat, jeans and a blue flannel shirt, Allen added: “She’s a good girl.”
He was asked before leaving if he had a good memory, to which he nodded stoically and replied, “Yes.”
spotted Tim Allen last week in his first sighting since Pamela Anderson accused him of flashing her
Anderson claimed in her forthcoming memoir Love, Pamela that Tim Allen flashed her on the set of ABC sitcom Home Improvement in 1991
“Everyone loved her, but everyone at ABC is a little disappointed in her … memory, to put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really,” Allen tells
Dressed casually in a gray coat, jeans and a blue flannel shirt, Tim said Anderson was “a good girl.”
The incident reportedly happened in 1991, when the Baywatch star was just 23 and playing the role of Lisa on the show, which centered on Allen’s character and family in suburban Detroit. Allen was 37 at the time.
Anderson’s memoir Love, Pamela Hits is out Tuesday
In an excerpt from her new memoir, Anderson writes, “On the first day of shooting, I walked out of my dressing room and Tim was standing in the hallway in his robes.
‘He opened his robe and quickly flashed me – completely naked underneath.’
Anderson had previously posed for Playboy magazine at the time of the incident – which Allen used against her, she claimed.
She wrote: “He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we are the same. I laughed uneasily.’
But Allen has denied the claims, telling Variety it “never happened.”
He added, “I would never do anything like that.”
Prior to his mainstream stardom in the ’90s, Anderson appeared on sitcoms such as Married… with Children, Charles in Charge and Top of the Heap.
She appeared in a total of 22 episodes of Home Improvement in the first and second seasons between 1991 and 1992.

An unearthed blooper captures the moment Allen appears to be showing his co-star Patricia Richardson on the set of ’90s sitcom Home Improvement
Richardson laughs at the incident in the clip and later insists her co-star was wearing boxer shorts
A Blooper Home Improvement Reel was unearthed last week showing Allen lifting his kilt in front of his screen wife Patricia Richardson, who appears to be laughing at the incident.
The video casts doubt on Allen’s statement that he “would never do such a thing” when Anderson accused him of also flashing her on set.
However, Richardson has insisted her co-star was “well dressed” under the kilt, wearing a pair of boxer shorts.
The clip begins with Allen standing proudly in the kilt while Richardson’s character Jill Taylor jokes, “Hangs long, just wish it was shorter.”
Seconds later, Allen turns and lifts the kilt high so only Richardson can see him. She gasps dramatically as the live studio audience roars with laughter.
But Richardson told TMZ, “People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me. He was well dressed underneath. I was just shocked that he picked up the kilt, not from a guy in boxers.”
Anderson’s upcoming memoir, to be published by HarperCollins, also discusses her thoughts on the 2022 Hulu series Pam and Tommy, which centered on her sextape scandal with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.
