A mystery buyer is buying a $3 million luxury home on the Mornington Peninsula designed by Dan and Dani Reilly of The Block

A luxury getaway on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula designed by “Foreman Dan” Reilly of The Block and his wife Dani has been purchased by an unknown buyer.

The Seaside Pad in Blairgowrie, 103 km from Melbourne’s CBD, went under the hammer for an undisclosed sum after being listed with a price list of between US$3 million and US$3.3 million.

The ultra-modern, two-story, four-bedroom, two-bathroom home was sold to an anonymous buyer after entering the market in October, reports Nine.

The former block applicants, who bought the property five years ago, built the 716 square meter house with the construction planning company Bellhaus Design Office.

The house is set in beautiful bushland next to the beach and offers a light-filled and airy feel.

Features include automatic climate control, a plunge pool and expansive living areas perfect for al fresco dining.

Other highlights include a home office, guest toilet and two lounge areas.

There is also an oversized modern kitchen, BBQ deck and scullery equipped with its own oven and freezer.

Design features include floor-to-ceiling windows, Krause handcrafted brick walls and a sunken lounge outfitted with a Cheminées Philippe automatic fireplace.

Home values ​​in the Blairgowrie area have risen 111.5 percent in five years, with a median price of $1.73 million for the average house, Domain reports.

Riley first starred in The Block in 2012 as a contestant alongside his now-wife Dani.

Today, alongside Keith Schleiger, he is one of the foremen on the show and oversees construction work on the site.

Before being promoted to foreman in season 11, he was an apprentice “foreman”.
