Julia Fox defended her apartment and discussed her proposed fortune on TikTok Monday.
The 32-year-old posted the video on social media after giving her followers a peek at her two-bedroom, one-bathroom home.
Some fans have responded with praise for the normality with which Fox has lived her life, while others have hailed her for her reported net worth of $30 million.

“I really didn’t expect my apartment tour to go viral like this, people are really freaking out,” Fox said in her latest video. “It’s really not that deep. This happens to be the apartment I took my son home to from the hospital. So it’s his home.”
She continued, “It really is [Fox’s son] Valentino’s apartment. It’s like a sentimental thing. That’s kind of why I feel that way, even though I could probably afford a bigger apartment, probably because I’m in New York after all, it’s about having that sense of normalcy.
The Uncut Gems star went on to say that she’s nowhere near her suggested net worth online.

“I’m not worth $30 million, not even close,” she said. “I don’t need $30 million; What does one person need $30 million for? I’ve survived on a lot less and I’m fine.
The tour of Fox’s apartment, which she released last week, revealed she sleeps next to her friend’s ashes in the living room, keeps shoes in her kitchen and has a mouse problem while on tour.
She said: “I never thought in a million years that I would do this, but I believe in maximum transparency and that’s why I’m going to give you guys an apartment tour. I know I’m getting roasted.

Fox then panned to her “nostalgia mirror,” which was littered with photos of her son as a baby, snaps of her friends who passed away, and a pendant containing some of her friend’s ashes.
Julia also has an area for plants called her “Growstation” where nothing grows because we don’t know what we’re doing.
