LAH: an expensive middle finger

The American Hockey League (AHL) has fined forward Dominik Shine for throwing the middle finger at Chicago Wolves fans on Sunday.

The Grand Rapids Griffins member is serving a two-game suspension. He will miss his family’s duels against the Admirals of Milwaukee and the Stars of Texas.

During the Griffins’ 5-3 win at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Shine was on his team’s bench when he appeared on the giant screen. After a split second’s hesitation, he held up his middle finger to insult the wolf supporters.

She and the Griffins are great rivals in the AHL. However, they each occupy the last row and the penultimate row of the middle section.

Shine has played with the Detroit Red Wings varsity club since 2016-2017. In his career he scored 44 goals and 93 points in 327 duels, spent 381 minutes in prison.
