Married at first sight villain Harrison Boon went to the police force before becoming a reality TV star, fearing for his safety.
Boon, 33, made his television debut on Tuesday night when he married 28-year-old Bronte Schofield on the hit Channel Nine show.
The Sydney-based builder and part-time stripper opened up about his life in the first episode of Season 10.
He lamented being only allowed to see his son every other weekend and said his days as a promiscuous bachelor were over.
However, it can now be revealed that police issued a restraining order against a woman in 2021 to protect him.

Boon was living and working in Merimbula on the NSW south coast when police issued an alleged violent warrant against a 30-year-old woman.
According to records filed with the Bega District Court, she was banned from threatening, stalking, harassing or intimidating him or destroying his property for a period of two years.
She was also forbidden from going within 50 meters of any place where Boon lived or worked.
Records also showed that police issued a second restraining order against her on behalf of another man that same day.
The woman was accused of destroying or damaging property worth less than $2,000.
She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a two-year parole without conviction.

Two weeks after the AVO was mentioned in court, Boon spoke candidly about his love life on Instagram (pictured)
Boon declined to comment when approached by Chron Australia on Wednesday.
However, two weeks after the AVO was mentioned in court, Boon spoke candidly about his love life on Instagram.
“Sometimes I’ll start a group chat with my Tinder matches and just sit and watch them fight Hunger Games style until there’s only one left, then I’ll take them out on a date,” he wrote alongside one Photo of him in a national park.
“I’m pretty sure nobody reads those captions anymore, so I’m just using this as a safe place for now.”
Boon’s wedding to Ms Schofield on Tuesday night didn’t quite go as planned after the bride’s friend Jessica Tomlinson told her the groom had a “secret friend” who was waiting for him off the show.

The newlyweds spent their first night in separate beds before a chilly argument broke out in the living room of their hotel suite.
“I think parts of me kind of followed me into this experience prior to this one. And I had a little bit of explaining to do,” he told producers.
“It’s just a shame that it came out so negatively on my wedding day, because although I did meet with someone before I got around to it … I made it perfectly clear to that person that things are over.”
Ms Schofield said it was her “greatest fear” that she would find love in the experiment, only for him to “replace” her with another woman waiting in the wings.
However, he assured her that his bachelor days were over and that he was taking their experimental marriage “seriously.”
