The committee investigating the attack on the US Capitol plans to begin public hearings in June, it said Thursday will present its conclusions in the midst of the mid-term election campaign later this year.
In eight hearings, the investigative commission questioned the key witnesses will testify publicly in the case of an alleged conspiracy that led to the January 6, 2021 uprising for the first time and the events of the same day.
“We tell what happened”said Bennie Thompson, president of the House fact-finding committee.
“We will use a combination of witnesses, evidence, Things we have among tens of thousands of pieces of evidence (…) as well as hundreds of witnesses who testified or with whom we spoke generally,” Thompson added.

The hearings are expected to be a TV hit – possibly like those on Watergate or the impeachment charges against Donald Trump – accordingly The country is living through the day, minute by minute, when a mob of supporters of the defeated Trump besieged Congress to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after the November 2020 election that declared Joe Biden the winner.
The caucus consists of seven Democrats and two Republicans will investigate Trump’s alleged responsibility for the violence for his false statements about voter fraud as part of an illegal conspiracy to stay in power.
Trump and his closest circle deny allegations of wrongdoingand characterized his electoral misinformation and alleged machinations to overturn the results as a bona fide attempt to expose widespread corruption.
Trump’s ultra-loyal base argues this investigation is a “witch hunt” to distract attention from rising inflation and the immigration crisisahead of the November election, where it could result in the Democrats losing control of Congress.
