During a search of US President Joe Biden’s weekend home today, investigators did not find any confidential documents. The announcement was made by one of Biden’s lawyers, Bob Bauer. The search in the community of Rehoboth, in the state of Delaware, took place according to the lawyers.
As with the search of Biden’s home in January, some materials and handwritten notes were taken that may relate to Biden’s time as vice president.
several finds
In recent weeks, confidential documents have repeatedly appeared in the private chambers of the Democratic president – in Delaware and in the US capital Washington. The public only learned of some of the finds when the media reported them.
Attorney General Merrick Garland hired a special attorney to investigate the incidents. The US government has been criticized for its information policy.
Biden was Barack Obama’s vice president from 2009 to 2017. After leaving office, secret government documents from former Republican President Donald Trump and his Vice President Mike Pence were also found.
