Eventim, one of the largest ticketing companies in the world, has made its first statement to the LeoDias column regarding complaints from fans of Mexican group RBD. Speaking to the same room and on social media, the group’s fan clubs reported that they are saddened that they will not be able to buy tickets for the shows that will be held in Brazil in November. The difficulty is in both inperson queues and online sales. Eventim explains that “once sales started, the universe although wide but limited in terms of tickets available quickly sold out given the simultaneous demand from thousands of fans”. “Eventim regrets that the high demand from fans who want to buy tickets for the event could not be met. It is a fact that the show in question has likely achieved unprecedented demand for ticket sales in the country.
When sales started, the universe although wide but limited in terms of available tickets quickly sold out given the simultaneous demand from thousands of fans. Tickets that are sold out almost immediately after they go on sale are a widespread phenomenon for artists with great relevance on the national and international scene. This happened for example at other big international shows.
The purchasing process is secure and organic and there may be returns of ticket stocks (e.g. lack of funds on the customer’s card) and in this case an availability window may open for subsequent customers.

Eventim is present in 27 countries, is responsible for the sale of more than 250 million tickets for more than 180,000 events per year (including the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Paris), is the leader in the European market and the second largest company in the world Ticket Sales, informs that its systems comply with the highest technological security standards and are able to handle the strong demand for such events, which has been confirmed in terms of the effective acquisition by the consuming public of the total number of tickets available for sale for the first 2 shows, always according to the number of people that each of the rooms where the event takes place can accommodate.
On the subject of money changers
Eventim has no agreements or partnerships with file sharing networks or other companies that resell tickets. Incidentally, this problem is one of the biggest challenges facing ticketing companies and the entire entertainment business in the country and the world today. We are absolutely against this practice.”
