THE Compadecida’s car is a true landmark of Brazilian cinema and the feature is gathering fans across the five regions of Brazil. The history of John Cricket and Young It became a classic on national screens and even today there are those who are anticipating a supposed sequel to the story.
The actress promised Virginia Cavendish in the afternoon of this Wednesday (1.). The artist who starred in the film took to social media and shared an artwork that read: “O Auto da Compadecida 2”. In the tweet, Virgínia reiterates that the work will take place and that she has been authorized by her boss to share the news.
But what seemed like a dream turned into a nightmare within hours. That’s because Cavendish went back to the official profiles and said it was all a joke. “Guys I deleted Auto’s tweet!! It was a joke. Actually a dream I had. Sorry!!! Everyone was so happy!! No fake news, hmm? But can dream?? sorrymm! I don’t make that joke anymore,” she wrote.
She previously posted: “Guys, I’ve been itching to break this news to you guys for a long time. But I could not. The boss finally fired me today. For me it is a huge joy and emotion! ‘Auto da Compadecida 2‘. Long live Brazilian cinema!” he declared in the post
