Elon Musk’s paid subscription offer, Twitter Blue, has arrived in Spain and some other European countries like Portugal and France after a long wait. From the web, the premium service costs 7 euros per month in an annual plan and 8 euros in a monthly plan. If you want to purchase the blue seal via your mobile device Android or iOS, you pay 11 euros. And it won’t be available to everyone. Only accounts registered for at least 90 days can access this product, which is activated by a confirmation phone number and payment.
At first, it seemed like the benefits of Twitter Blue would just be having the blue verification badge next to the username. but the company added additional options. The promise is that verified users can see half as many ads as others, have priority in searches, and appear among the first answers and mentions. They can also post longer videos in Full HD quality and edit tweets up to five times in 30 minutes. Another new feature is the ability to place an NFT image as a profile picture.
This paid service was already available in the US, UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Canada for around US$11 for iOS users and US$8 for Android.
Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, has announced that starting today, the company will share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads. Of course, as long as the user pays for verification: “To be eligible, the account must be a Twitter Blue subscriber,” he says in his tweet, published a few hours after the service became available in these European countries.

Twitter launched the subscription service with the blue mark on November 5 last year and shut it down a few days later after the chaos of scammers posing as celebrities, politicians and companies, in which even a profile of Jesus Christ received the blue mark , has been discontinued. This seal had always served to certify the authenticity of an account.
