Throughout the year I receive photos from followers who follow my columns and I keep the most beautiful and above all the most inspiring ones. Twice a year I post a few shots of enthusiasts who stand out. You are also welcome to email me yours in good resolution [email protected]. Don’t forget to accompany it with interesting anecdotes.

Here are some nice specimens foiled by some of our readers:
1. You can feel the pride Delia Tomasini after catching this gorgeous 4.2 pound smallmouth bass. This 13-year-old fanatic is spending her summer holidays at Lac-du-Cerf. According to her mother Mélissa, it is a real pleasure to watch her catch a fish because it is always the prettiest and she kisses it every time before putting it back in the water.

2. Sonia Scalzo from the Rochu outfitter sent me the photo of her longtime client, Philip Lapeyrie, the likeable “people’s sommelier”, as some call him. This experienced roder caught this beautiful 3.5 pound, 21 inch brown trout in the waters of Lake Audy using a Toronto wobbler and a worm.

3. guide Marc Andre Bigras, from the outfitter Aventurier du Gouin, caused incredible emotions to his friend Gérard by allowing him to capture this magnificent 91.45 cm trophy. This big percid was seduced by a white and pink jig. He was immediately pardoned and is still swimming in the Ticman Island area.

4. During his annual trip to Lake Kipawa Pascal Marine de Laval likes to tow zander. He makes deep long A passes near the steep shore along the seagrass in a Bomber. This 14-pound predator’s sustained and energetic attack caused its tail to flex in every direction. Once filleted, the whole table enjoyed it over lunch on the shore.

5. When jigging the walleye off the Beauharnois Dam with 8lbs/test and a 3⁄4 oz yellow jig, Jeffrey Barone had quite the upset and spectacular fight when this handsome 20lb+ muscle lunge devoured his offer. Although he didn’t have a steel leader, he was able to drag him to his boat and release him.

6. His first attempt at the drop shot technique, using a 1⁄4 oz tungsten sinker, a 1/0 hook and a lightly cropped RingWorm Mister Twister in a light color with silver flakes. Luc Beaugard de Laval managed to thwart the vigilance of this beautiful little estuary on the plain of Saint-François in Lake Saint-Pierre.

7. Dominic Papineau de Saint-Jérôme teases all species of fish, including sea whitefish. In summer he likes to go to Lac Nominingue. Equipped with a semi-rigid rod, a 12lb/test line, a 3⁄4oz head and a purple NXS soft bait that mimics a stint, he’s jigging at 20m down for nice fighters like this 4.5kg.
