Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers throw PUNCHES at each other, sparking a huge bench-busting brawl during Magic Timberwolves play – and the fight results in FIVE players being kicked out!
Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers clashed in Minnesota on Friday night when both benches were cleared and five players were knocked out of contention.
The incident happened at 1:32 of the third quarter, at which point Magic was winning 83-73.
Rivers and the Magic Bank seemed to exchange words after the guard missed a three-pointer early in the game and tensions eventually spilled over when a time-out was called.
Rivers, standing alone near the Orlando bench after the dead ball, appeared to be hit first by Bamba as he was hit backwards before the veteran attempted to hit back before being knocked down by Magic’s Jalen Suggs became.
The T-Wolves’ bull prince tried to come to the rescue of Rivers but was pushed by Cole Anthony while Anthony Edwards also tried to play peacemaker.

Rivers was thrown to the ground, as was teammate Taurean Prince (second from right).
The incident ended with a scrum on the ground as players from both sides rushed to stop it
Ultimately, Rivers, Prince, and Jaden McDaniels were thrown for the hosts while Bamba and Suggs were thrown out for the Magic.
But the drama wasn’t over yet.
According to Minnesota Play-by-play announcer Michael Gradythere was a heavy police presence in the back aisles of the arena afterwards, and Bamba ran “all the way around the tunnel” before being stopped.
The Magic Big Man then continued the feud on Instagram, posting a popular meme of a graphic on a whiteboard that conveys the message “f*** around and find out.”
Rivers also took to his Instagram, calling Bamba essentially irrelevant to the sport and suggesting people didn’t like him in Orlando.
‘Buddy I attacked you 1 to 5!!! Without support!“, he said.
“You need your teammates, otherwise you would have been [choked] out of. talk about finding out. We only know you from an old rap song… not tires. Stfu. and Orlando my city. Ask around and find out. They don’t mess with you there… facts!’
The Magic would win the game 127-120.
The fight comes just a day after Dillon Brooks and Donovan Mitchell were thrown out of a Grizzlies Cavs match in Cleveland when Brooks swung his arm into Mitchell’s groin before Mitchell threw the ball at him and shoved his opponent.
Brooks was suspended for one game and Mitchell was fined $20,000.
