Hoping that the League 1 2023 can be carried out normally, the representatives of Alianza Lima, Cienciano, FBC Melgar, Deportivo Municipal, Deportivo Binacional and Cusco FC met with the Peruvian Football Federation in La Videna yesterday.
At that meeting, the six clubs that are asking the FPF to withdraw the precautionary measure suspending contracts with the Peruvian football consortium had a long conversation with Agustín Lozano and Jean Marcel Robilliard, president and general secretary of the highest national football federation.
After the session ends, Sergio Ludenathe administrator of Cienciano, revealed that there has been a good dialogue on both sides, so today at 15:00 they will have a new meeting where they could reiterate their points of view and thus reach an agreement that satisfies everyone .
“There are many variables that need to be checked with the technical part, the legal part and the specialist part. Now we are going to another meeting where we will analyze points, but the most important thing is to look for the best together,” the Kaiserklub manager told the media.
Likewise, Juan Carlos Aquino, President of Binacional, indicated that there is optimism for reaching a successful conclusion with the FPF. “I think we’re on the right track. Tomorrow (today) it will be determined whether the meeting was good or bad. We are on a path of dialogue,” said the head of the powerful in the south.
It should be remembered that the six clubs concerned lost on the last day due to walk over and received an economic penalty of 30 UIT, leaving them at great risk of relegation if they do not play again in their respective games on the next date of the tournament.
