Vicky Pattinson was red-faced when Lorraine Kelly reacted to her Scottish accent on Wednesday morning.
Fans scratched their heads when Vicky slipped into a gruff Scottish accent on the latest episode of her podcast, The Secret To.
The former Geordie Shore star, 35, was called out by guest Kate Ferdinand, 31, after she noticed her pal’s articulation had changed – but Vicky insisted she didn’t know.
‘Completed?’ She exclaimed after Kate remarked, “Oh, your accent just changed.”
Speaking to Ed Balls and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, Vicky said: ‘Please don’t play it – oh god you’re going to play it … I don’t think it’s that bad, do you think it’s awful?’

Susanna said she thinks it sounds beautiful before bringing Lorraine to the screen, who was preparing for her own show.
Vicky then put her hands in front of her face and said: “Lorraine, I’m really embarrassed!
Lorraine replied: “Don’t be silly, it was good! I thought that was lovely and the work you do is amazing. I’m so proud of you for everything you do Vicky, it’s absolutely wonderful.”
She added: “You can do it with any accent you like! You bring an amazing message across and I think it’s fantastic, good for you.”
After the footage was shared by fans on TikTok, many were quick to develop theories behind her change in flexion while comparing her to Glasgow native Lorraine Kelly.
One commented, “Where the hell did that come from?” while another wrote: “My body jerked.”
Another added, “Plot twist: What if she’s actually Scottish and puts on a Geordie accent so she can go to the Geordie shore?”
A fourth chimed in with, “I’m glad Kate said so…she’s been watching Lorainne Kelly too much,” before someone else said, “Why does she sound like Lorraine?”
“She sounded more Scottish then than my own mother, who is 100% Scottish,” concluded a finale.
Lorraine replied: “Don’t be silly, it was good! I thought that was lovely and the work you do is amazing. I’m so proud of you for everything you do Vicky, it’s absolutely wonderful.”

It comes after Vicky has spoken candidly about her journey to motherhood.
The TV personality – who is engaged to fiancé Ercan Ramadan and is in the process of freezing her eggs – said this week she is doing the process because she is “not mentally ready for children”.
Speaking at length to Women’s Health UK, Vicky said she is keeping some eggs for herself and unfertilized to “protect herself and her happiness” if she and Ercan ever split.
“My journey to motherhood didn’t look like Disney, the fairy tales. I haven’t found anyone to love me for a long time,” she said.
“I know our relationship is still in its infancy, we’ve been together for four years and there’s still so much to learn from each other before we throw sleepless nights into the mix.”

“I know no one is ready … but all I know is that we’re not ready and my body may not be ready when I’m mentally,” she explained.
“We’re going to start our frozen family and I’m also going to keep some eggs just for me. Who knows what the future will bring.”
Vicky explained her decision and said she was protecting herself and her happiness.
“I adore him and he adores me. No one wants to break up and get divorced and I’m sure we won’t either, but I’m protective of myself and my happiness,” she said.
She added, “I think it’s absolutely vital that we all know that there are many different paths to motherhood.”

Earlier this week, Vicky shared with her Instagram followers that she’s had a setback on her fertility journey.
She said she had a cyst on her ovaries that needed to be removed before she could continue treatment.
Sharing her experience with her fans, Vicky said the latest news has understandably left her emotional.

She wrote: “Unfortunately yesterday didn’t go as planned and I have another cyst on one of my ovaries.
“Since the injections I would need to give as part of my fertility treatment are mostly estrogens – rather than stimulating the ovarian follicles, which is what we want – it would be mostly feeding the cyst instead and the treatment would be wasted.
“I’m obviously a bit disappointed and spent most of yesterday crying and just feeling super drained – it was like someone deflated all the air out of a balloon.
“But I suppose that was just all the fear and nervous energy leaving my body and making me feel like a human raisin.”
“I made my peace with it today – I’m going back to work, I’ll focus on other things and I’ll try again next month ♥️.”
Ercan got on one knee in February last year as the couple planned a 2024 wedding.
Discussing her upcoming wedding, Vicky said late last year: “And I can’t believe I can say in a few days – we’re getting married next year Arghhhhhhh!!! Our next chapter will be our most exciting yet.”
