Sting has been plagued by questions about his high-energy love life ever since he once gave an interview where he boasted about seven-hour tantric sex sessions.
He later clarified that the seven hours would include dinner and a movie. Now the 71-year-old The Police singer has admitted he’s loving the interest in it.
“It doesn’t bother me at all – it’s very healthy,” he says. “We never discussed sex with my parents.
“I’m lucky in many ways, and having my health at this age is something I don’t take for granted.
“I’ve lost a lot of friends who didn’t make it that far, so I appreciate every day as it comes.”

The chart-topper – who is married to Trudie Styler – previously clarified his infamous admissions during a 2014 interview for Bravo series Inside The Actor’s Studio.
“The idea of tantric sex is a spiritual act,” he explained. “I know of no purer and better way of expressing love for another individual than sharing this beautiful, I call it, ‘sacrament.’ I would stand by it. Not seven hours, but the idea.”
He then quipped, “Seven hours includes movie and dinner,” which got the audience laughing.
In 2011, Trudie said her husband’s original claim about her love life was a drunken boast.
But while she despised the idea that they would do it all day, she pointedly paused to say he had lied about the yoga-related practice.

She said: “Sting said that 21 years ago. He just turned 60 and I assume [the tantric story] will keep going until he falls over.
“You know who I blame for this? Bob Geldof. He and Sting had gone to an interview with a rock journalist, and the interview turned into a drinking spree.
“At one point the journalist asked how long they could walk and Geldof said he was a three-minute man but since Sting does yoga he could probably last for hours. And Sting said, “Well, haven’t you ever heard of tantric sex?”
“So Sting explained that before you, you know, have sex, it’s about being intimate, caring about your partner, really committing to intimacy. And that is really the premise of tantra.
