Jenna Bush Hager takes a behind-the-scenes look at her immaculately decorated new home, from her cozy fireplaces and jam-packed bookcase to her wallpapered dining room and piano.
The Today host reportedly moved to Fairfield County, Connecticut, with her husband Henry Hager and their three children — Mila, nine, Poppy, seven, and Hal, three — after buying their New York City condo last spring for $5.375 million listed.
Bush Hager, 41, took to Instagram on Sunday to share photos of the cozy weekend spent at home with her best friend, ceramic artist Laird Gough, and her husband Ross Gough.
“Scenes from a freezing cold weekend with mine [heart]’ she captioned the pics.
The mother-of-three has yet to publicly confirm she lives in Connecticut, although her family’s latest Christmas card paid tribute to her “new turf.”

Bush Hager’s post marks the first time she has given fans a glimpse of the inside of the property she moved into sometime in the last year.
The first image is a snap of her family’s new cat, Hollywood “Holly” Hager, sitting in front of her roaring fireplace.
An octagonal mirror hangs above the mantel decorated with small vases of various shapes, and the wall surrounding the fireplace is covered with wallpaper.
In the corner of the room is a cozy chair next to a white built-in bookcase – a must-have for the founder of Read with Jenna, who recently launched her own production company, Thousand Voices.
The following shot shows Bush Hager and her husband playing cards with the Goughs at a small table in the corner of the piano room, which is furnished with a textured cream carpet.
Four framed prints hang on the wall next to them, and they sit in front of a glass and wood door that leads to what appears to be a tile-floored conservatory. The date stamp on the picture says 2/4/98.
Another picture of Bush Hager’s son Hal playing the piano while his cat stands underneath looks like it was taken on the opposite side of the room.
The same black-and-white prints are displayed on the wall behind the piano, and there are large windows flanked by long curtains that slide open, revealing the trees that surround their property.

A sweet snap shows Laird, a native of Virginia now living in New York City, reading Hal a bedtime story in another room of the house.
The little boy is wearing his pajamas and is sitting on her lap as he turns the pages of the book. Laird leans against a dark wood dresser, on which sit a white and blue ceramic lamp, an acrylic photograph, and a large globe.
The mirror hanging above the dresser catches the reflection of the artwork hanging on the wall across the room.
The highlight of the Hager family home is undoubtedly their sumptuous dining room, thanks to its chic black and white floral wallpaper.
Fans gushed over the “amazing” wallpaper in the comments, curiously trying to figure out where it came from.
Bush Hager decided to play with mixed prints in the space, pairing the floral motif with a black and white striped rug.
A crystal chandelier hangs above the mahogany dining room table surrounded by her Chippendale-style chairs, which have been painted white for the move.
A snap of the two couples sitting together was taken after dinner, while posing next to each other with their black and white cloth napkins.

Another photo shows the table adorned with a bouquet of dark flowers, mixed-pattern plates, and striped stick candles in silver candlesticks.
The large black-and-white artwork on the wall was formerly in the living room of her New York City apartment, next to her wall of bookshelves with a sliding library ladder.

Bush Hager went for a whole new aesthetic, including updated furniture, when she designed the interior of her Connecticut home.
The animal print couch and red armor, which were standout pieces in her former living room, weren’t featured in any of the pictures, though it’s possible they’re hidden somewhere else on the property.

The former first daughter stopped posting photos taken at her Tribeca condo in April, around the time the property went on the market.

Both her beach house and former condo were decorated by Dallas-based interior designer Traci White, who was Bush Hager’s college roommate at the University of Texas.

“There was something about Texas that reminded me of being outside. Even so close to town, it was a little remote,” Bush told Hager about their beach house in 2019
The old friends may have worked together for the third time on their new Connecticut home, but White’s Instagram feed only features pictures of her former condo.
Bush Hager spoke about her beloved North Shore beach house in a 2019 interview with Veranda, which included pictures of the property.
She said they rented in the area for about five or six summers and fell in love with the cottage during an open house.
“There was something about Texas that reminded me of being outside. Even so close to the city, it was remote,” she told the magazine.
When designing the interiors of the home, Bush Hager took old family pieces from her and her husband and reupholstered them, including a 20th-century sofa from her side and a pair of wingbacks from the Hagers.
“Jenna and her mother [former First Lady Laura Bush] Enjoy looking at pieces one at a time and finding beauty in what’s there,” White told Veranda. “It’s never about ‘new, new, new.'”
The article was published about three years before the Hagers moved to Connecticut, but she seemed to imply that they would one day leave New York City.
In the interview, Bush Hager spoke about her love of the great outdoors and how she envisioned her three children having their own backyard where they could run around barefoot.
“There’s something great about sitting down there with friends and kids and watching the rain,” she said. “You’re outside and barefoot. That’s how Henry and I grew up and that’s what we want for our kids.”
