The managers of ALBI le Géant have decided to offer them their two boxes for the occasion.
“Vice President Louise Villeneuve read the article in Le Journal de Montréal about the Ukrainian team coming to Quebec,” said Cathy Laroche, Vice President of Communications. At the end of the article, she saw that playing a Habs game was her dream.
“She really wanted them to have that experience. It took him three seconds to get the project started.”
After a few internal phone calls everything went within a few hours.
“The dressing room was already reserved but we moved people to other parties so it could happen. We then organized this with the leaders of the Ukrainian team.
During their visit to the Bell Center, the 25 members of Team Ukraine Select will receive VIP treatment with unlimited food and beverages. They will also each receive a stuffed animal in the Quebec company’s colors with a flag of their country.
“We communicated with the hostesses to make sure the kids didn’t miss anything. Louise and Denis Leclerc [propriétaire] I want so much for them to have a great experience.”
