“Turn your vagina into a sweet treat”: that’s the promise Kourtney Kardashian makes with her new jujube, which claims to be able to boost the health of the genital organ and improve its taste. The product causes controversy and does not appeal to gynecologists at all.

After Kim Kardashian, who told The New York Times that she’s willing to eat poop every day to stay young, her sister Kourtney offers to ingest candy to change the taste of your vagina.
The eldest of the Kardashian clan launched her brand of dietary supplements, Lemme, in September 2022.
In a promotional video for her new product called Lemme Purr, we see the 43-year-old entrepreneur lying on the ground surrounded by cats and smirking as she swallows one of her vitamin candies.
“Vaginal health is such an important part of a woman’s well-being (and it’s not talked about enough),” reads the caption.
Her product, with pineapple, vitamin C, and probiotics, would “improve vaginal health and pH, which promotes freshness and flavor,” she says.
However, experts do not agree.

A useless product
Doctor Maddy Dann, 30, who was interviewed by the BBC and regularly discusses sexual health on TikTok, thinks the product is completely useless. “There is no such thing as an unclean vagina. The vagina is self-cleaning,” she says.
She worries that these gummy bears will lead some people to believe they have a problem that only the product can solve.
“Everyone with a vulva or vagina smells different, smells different, tastes different, and discharges differently,” she explains.
“And so this product suggests that every woman should taste the same, smell the same, have the same vagina, or have the same discharge. — and that’s just not realistic.”

Of misogyny
Gynecologist and best-selling author of The Vagina Bible Jen Gunter called out Kourtney Kardashian on Instagram.
“Anyone who suggests your vagina isn’t fresh or needs an improved taste is a misogynistic and horrible person,” she wrote.
The specialist also disputes the assumption that pineapple can change the taste of body fluids.
The BBC reminds that it is normal for the vagina and fluids to have a slight odour, which varies with hormones, activity, hygiene and diet.
