The 22-year-old is back from his loan at Belgian Premier League club SV Zulte Waregem, CF announced on Monday. This team held an option to buy but chose not to exercise it. The Nigerian struggled to score just one goal in 16 games.
CF Montreal acquired Offor’s services from Chicago Fire last August in exchange for a general allotment fee of US$325,000. The Bleu-Blanc-Noir offered the youngster a two-year deal with two optional years in September and sent him on loan straight after.
Offor played his only season in Major League Soccer in 2021. He had 34 games for the Fire, including 11 starts, one goal and two assists.
