A piece of a woman’s body was found Monday in a bag in Buttes-Chaumont, a park in northeast Paris popular with strollers, legal sources have told us.
Agents from the city’s parks and gardens made the macabre discovery in the middle of the day, the mayor of the capital’s 19th arrondissement, François Dagnaud, told AFP.
The entire Buttes Chaumont Park was subsequently closed for research, the elected official added.
