Bornes Québec announced on Thursday that it is partnering with Hydro-Québec’s Electric Circuit to improve access to electric vehicle charging stations.
As part of this pilot project, Terminals Québec plans to add around 100 EVera terminals to the Electric Circuit, which already has more than 1,420 public charging stations, over the course of the year.
“This partnership demonstrates all the trust, competence and reliability that Bornes Québec has developed over the past few years,” said Bornes Québec General Manager Guy Lamarche.
With its affiliated charging station program, Electric Circuit aims to accelerate the deployment of Tier 2 charging stations to improve accessibility to public charging stations throughout Quebec.
“With the arrival of a large number of electric vehicles on our roads in the next few years, we need to increase the deployment of charging stations,” said France Lampron, general manager of the Hydro-Québec Electric Circuit.
“Launching this partner program with Bornes Québec as our first partner will help us meet demand and ensure a better experience for EV drivers,” she added.
