On the morning of their date, Leslie had texted her sister to tell her about her plans.

Sister Caroline said Leslie’s phone has since gone off and she has not read any of her family’s concerned messages or birthday texts.

Leslie had apparently arranged to meet her date near the Capitol building in Sacramento. The family is desperate for information that could help them find her.

Caroline told Fox40: “She told me someone was on their way to pick her up.

‘And she would keep me posted. She would keep in touch and let me know. And that’s the last I heard from her.

“I texted her back and I could see that message wasn’t getting through, which isn’t like my sister.

‘She would have at least turned on her phone. Even if she didn’t always answer immediately. She would have her phone on.’

Leslie’s other sister, Khandaria Alexander, added: “Every day it feels like there’s another moment that something could happen to her.

“Our family is breaking up right now. We can’t eat. Every second I feel like who knows where she could be. It’s just so scary.

“If anyone uses this site, OkCupid, I want them to get in touch if they have any information about someone named Bea.”

Police said there was still no evidence of foul play and they believe Leslie left her home on the morning of April 15.

Her phone company said the last time she was connected to the network was at 8:45 a.m. that day.

Leslie, who has been described as “loving and trusting,” previously had mental health issues, but her disappearance is still very unusual, her family said.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Sacramento Police Department.
