A fire destroyed a yacht docked at a Miami marina early Saturday morning.
As the city’s fire department reported on their Facebook wall, their teams responded to a boat burning at a marina at 1:45 a.m.
“Upon arrival, units found the ship completely ablaze,” the note said.
The incident happened at a marina at 860 Northeast and 78th Street.
It took firefighters 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. There was no one on board at the time of the incident.
“All exposures have been protected and the incident has been confined to the ship of origin. No injuries were reported,” the information added.
Firefighters told Local 10 News the boat was declared a total loss and towed to a nearby property.
The causes of the accident are still under investigation.
