Catherine, Princess of Wales gave Prince William a little smack as they walked the red carpet at the BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday.
The couple exchanged a few words on the red carpet as the 41-year-old princess subtly slapped her husband, 40, on the buttocks.

The spanking was captured in an Instagram video by Vogue, which read, “Princess Kate gave Prince William a loving spanking when they arrived at the #BAFTAs 2023, proving that the royals really are just like us , a normal married couple who sometimes like to make out a bit.”
Taking to Instagram, many people expressed what they thought of this rare moment of royal affection: “It’s cute,” wrote one follower, while another added, “Love it.”
“Kate kicked William’s butt? Cheeky!” and “A good old slap on the butt!” wrote other netizens.
It was the first time since 2020 that the prince, the BAFTA chairman, and his wife appeared at the film awards in person.

During the event, he appeared to get emotional as Helen Mirren paid tribute to her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September 2022.
“In 1953 his coronation broadcast attracted the whole world. From then on she was undoubtedly the country’s leading lady, but she was as mysterious as a silent film star,” said the actress, who played the Queen in the 2006 film The Queen.
The 2023 BAFTA Film Awards took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
