“If Kyler Murray wasn’t here, I wouldn’t have taken this job,” he said in an interview with NBC Sports’ website profootballtalk.com.

“I think our offense will be very different. This guy does things that sometimes completely undermine the defense. I think we can take him to a new level and he will be able to use all his skills.”

Gannon was hired last week after previously working as the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The pilot took the liberty of criticizing the former government for its use of Murray.

“I can guarantee you we won’t always be using it in pistol formation,” he said. We will use two types of formations to highlight his skills. He’ll play just behind the middle and we’ll also focus on the pistol formation.

“That was missing from Kyler’s game,” added Gannon. They always carried guns. When you do that, you allow the opposing defense to ignore certain plays. If he’s behind the center, the defense will have no choice but to rack their brains.

Murray was selected with the first draft pick of 2019. He has always played under head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who lost his job after a disappointing 4-13 in 2022.

Since joining the NFL, Murray has only made the playoffs once and hasn’t enjoyed the thrill of winning in a one-night stand.

The line runner was also unable to finish last season after injuring his knee badly in the 14th week of service.

It looks like Murray won’t be recovered enough to start the 2023 season at the same time as his teammates.
