Real Housewives from New Jersey: Melissa Gorga turns down Teresa Giudice’s late offer to be a bridesmaid

Melissa Gorga politely declined a late offer from Teresa Giudice to be a bridesmaid at her wedding on Tuesday’s Bravo episode of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey.

The Season 13 episode began with Melissa, 43, and Teresa, 50, continuing their argument at the mozzarella party over engagement party seating.

Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga, 43, and sister-in-law Melissa felt snubbed after they were seated at a separate table away from the bride-to-be, her fiancé Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas, 47, and his family at the engagement party.

“I only go after what’s in my heart. I just felt like you weren’t supporting Louie and me,” Teresa told Melissa.

‘Really? Nobody opened their arms up more than Joe and I did Louie, just so you know,” Melissa said.

She added: “I want to see your fucking happy ending. I was here to see everything. I want to see it. Always. I swear. I mean that.’

“I feel that,” said Teresa.

“I’m handling the engagement party just fine,” said Melissa, who previously questioned Teresa’s version of the seating plan.

“What I didn’t like was when I looked like a liar, so I had to correct it. And I’m fine not being at the wedding,” added Melissa.

Teresa took it in stride and extended a late invitation to Melissa to join her bridal shower.

‘Not listening. I mean do you want to be at the wedding? I mean, if you’d like to be a bridesmaid,’ Teresa said.

“Now why are you pretending to do me a favor?” Melissa asked.

“I would like to see you as a bridesmaid at my wedding. I’m serious,’ Teresa said.

Good question:

Good question: “Well, why are you pretending to do me a favor?” Melissa asked

“I would never go back. It’s like an ex-boyfriend saying, ‘I screwed up. I want you back.’ No, you can’t fucking have me back,” Melissa said with a good-natured laugh.

She added: “I’m fine with not being there. I’m really fine. I swear.’

‘OK. Thank you very much. I love you,” Teresa said before they hugged.

‘Oh dear God. Finally,” Teresa sighed.

“Last time I want to talk about it. It’s okay,” Melissa said as their hug ended.

Teresa was later shown at her home with her daughter Gia, 21, where she discussed the mozzarella party drama with Melissa.

“It’s just sad that she has to try and make up that lie to make you look bad,” Gia said.

Gia also took issue with Teresa asking Melissa to attend the wedding reception.

“I wish you never asked her that because there’s a reason you’re still upset that she said she was there for us,” Gia said, referring to Melissa’s comments on her May 2022 podcast on Time , when Teresa was serving her prison term.

Melissa mentioned on the podcast that Teresa’s ex-husband Joe “doesn’t work at all” and revealed they were supportive.

“The only time we really saw her was when we were on camera together,” Gia said in a confessional. “I really can’t remember when I’ve ever seen her again.”

Teresa’s daughter Gabriella, 17, joined the conversation and asked why her godmother Melissa was making the comments on her podcast.

Gia said to “look like a good aunt,” while Louie replied to get “attention.”

Calmly and typically drama-free, Gabriella admitted she was hurt by it.

“It’s hurtful that someone would say that just because that was about five years of my life. It was a sensitive time. And especially when it’s not true,” Gabriella said of the time her parents were jailed separately.

‘You remember. And recognition should not be given where it is not deserved. That concerns me directly. Direct, so I’ll take that to heart,’ Gabriella said.

‘Oh dear God. look at her neck She breaks out like hives,” Teresa said of Gabriella’s family drama taking a physical toll.

‘I know. I think you’re stressed,” Gia said.

Louie then voiced his opinion.

“It’s sad, it’s gross,” he chimed in.

“I’m so sorry you’re being treated like this and I can’t stand to watch this man be and behave like this, dude, don’t you think I see you? I see you a mile away,” Louie said, referring to his future brother-in-law, Joe.

Joe and Melissa were shocked to learn that none of Melissa’s family members were invited to Teresa’s wedding.

“My mother-in-law and sister-in-law have been part of our lives for 20 years. You know, so she makes a statement. You mean nothing to me,’ Joe said in a confessional.

They noted that over the years, Melissa’s mother, Donna Marco, was close to Teresa and Joe’s late father, Giacinto Gorga.

Joe also pointed out that he invited Joe Giudice’s family to his wedding because it was the “right thing.”

“Louie has done nothing to help the situation. He made it worse!” Joe added.

Joe said he intends to let Louie know he doesn’t like that ‘cop***’ on an upcoming evening outing.

Bill Aydin, 49, confirmed his friendship with Louie on the men’s night out.

“I love Louie. I’m the brother-in-law he doesn’t have,” Bill quipped.

He then asked Joe why he couldn’t be a little nicer to Louie.

Joe explained that he and Melissa welcomed Louie with open arms and he just found out his mother-in-law and sister-in-law weren’t invited to the wedding.

“It’s like a slap in the face,” Joe said.

“I just want him to know, ‘You’re a piece of shit, you’re trash,'” Joe continued when Louie arrived.

Joe quickly went after Louie for not inviting Melissa’s family over, and Louie said it was because of “a lot of past cops ***.”

Everyone agreed that not inviting her to an Italian wedding was wrong and that it was a “slap in the face”.

Louie said there were a few slaps going around and brought up Melissa’s podcast.

Joe told him to be quiet and they started swearing at each other.

“I’m so above you, it’s not even funny!” Louie said.

“I’m going to break your fucking balls!” Joe yelled as he slammed his fist on the table.

So up,

So up, “I’m so over you, it’s not even funny!” Louie said

“Stop the fuss!” Louie shouted.

Joe admitted he was hurt by Teresa’s recent actions and Louie suggested that Joe and Teresa should talk.

In a confessional, Joe sounded skeptical about speaking to Teresa.

‘Where are we going? As soon as we sit down, she’ll say, “Well, you didn’t defend Louie,” Joe said.

“Teresa does that. She’s not making any headway. In my heart, I know how she really feels, so I just don’t want to waste any more time,” he added

Louie insisted they talk and end their feud.

“I’ll think about it,” Joe told him.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey will return on Bravo next week.
