Both women are expected to diss their exes after Shakira’s first revenge song last month against former partner Gerard Pique, 36, in which she attacked his new girlfriend Clara Chia, 23.

According to Telemundo’s show Hoy Dia, Shakira is set to sing in Spanish in the upcoming song, words that translate to “You go out looking for food and I think it was monotony.”

Meanwhile, Karol G, who used to date Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA: “At least with me, I made you look pretty.”

The singers have made it clear that TQG stands for Te quedó Grande, which translates to “You were overwhelmed” in English.

Karol G, who was born in Medellin and competed on the Colombian version of reality talent show The X Factor as a teenager, has previously told the NY Times that Shakira “would let loose a lot of anger” in the highly-anticipated track.

And according to Karol G, upon hearing it, Shakira admitted: “Oh my god, thank you. These lyrics are exactly how I’m feeling right now.’

Last month, Gerard – who shares sons Sasha, 10, and Milan, 7, with Shakira – officially took to Instagram with his new girlfriend Clara.

The footballer – who split from the singing megastar in June 2022 after a 12-year romance – posted a cozy snap with the young PR pro.

Theatre! It was reported that Shakira found out about Gerard's cheating through a jar of strawberry jam she found in the fridge, which she referenced in her new video

Hard to miss! Shakira then referenced the strawberry jam in a music video for her single Te Felicito in April, which included a clip of a head of her collaborator Rauw Alejandro

The decision to take their romance to his social media comes after Shakira took a swipe at Clara in her diss track with DJ Bizarrap, which has since topped Spotify’s global charts.

It comes after it was also reported that Shakira has started building a wall to separate her home from that of her former mother-in-law following her split from Gerard.

Shakira reportedly realized her ex-boyfriend had been unfaithful when she discovered a jar of strawberry jam had been eaten while she was away.

Shakira then referenced the strawberry jam in a music video for her single Te Felicito in April, which featured a clip of her collaborator Rauw Alejandro’s head in an open fridge.

According to ShowNews Today, Shakira knew Gerard and her two sons didn’t like strawberry jam, so she suspected someone else had stayed at their house when she found the jar.

Shakira was returning home from a trip when she realized the jam in her fridge had been eaten and she knew the rest of her family didn’t like her.

The singer seemed to allude to it in the music video for her single Te Felicito, where she opens a fridge to be greeted by Rauw’s head.

It comes after she placed a horrific life-size witch doll on the balcony of her Spanish home, reportedly watching over her former mother-in-law’s flat.

Local residents in the area have reported that Shakira “blasted the song at full volume” from their home, including lyrics aimed at his new girlfriend.

Shakira makes it clear she’s referring to the 23-year-old, who her former partner is rumored to have started dating last year before their split, saying: “I’m worth two twenties. They swapped a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded in a Rolex for a Casio.”

While Shakira’s new song features some conflicting lyrics aimed at Gerard and his new love Clara, she also includes a few choice words for her ex-mother-in-law, singing, “You left my mother-in-law as my neighbor. The press out the door and the Debts in the treasury…’

It was reported that the relationship between Shakira and Montserrat Bernabéu [Gerard’s mother] has grown sour after readily welcoming her son’s new romance.
