Mia Goth and Alexander Skarsgard presented an animated performance at the Infinity Pool photocall during the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival on Wednesday.
Infinity Pool left critics horrified with its scenes of executions, orgies and frontal nudity in early reviews of the shocking horror film.
Mia, 29, showed off her incredible figure in a white skin-tight dress teamed with a pair of black stiletto heels.
The Pearl star opted for a soft, glamorous makeup look as she posed for snaps at the event, which took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
Meanwhile, Alexander, 46, looked dapper in an all-black ensemble that consisted of a blazer, tee and trousers.

The pair were also joined for the photo op by the film’s director, Brandon Croenenberg, and actor Jalil Lespert.
The film follows writer James Foster (Skarsgard) and Em Foster (Cleopatra Coleman), a couple enjoying an all-inclusive beach vacation on the fictional island of La Tolqa, when a fatal accident erupts the resort’s perverse subculture of hedonistic tourism, violence and surrealism brings terror to light.
In one of the film’s most shocking scenes, Mia, who plays free-spirited tourist and actress Gabi, performs a sex act with Alexanders Foster, ejaculating the author and showing his manhood fully on screen.
Other gory scenes feature a clone of Alexander being disemboweled and orgies – with the R-rated film branded “The White Lotus – but for sickos” at its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
Alexander himself said of the role, “Fighting a naked version of me to the death and then being breastfed by Mia… it’s not something you do often as an actor.”
IndieWire reviewer Ryan Lattanzio praised the lead cast’s “terribly out of joint” performances, but said, “The whole thing feels bloodless, cold and clammy like a speculum.
“Despite the accumulation of gore, guts, holes and cocks in a hallucinogenic montage that permeates the otherwise oddly sleepy atmosphere of Infinity Pool, the film is never as horrifying as it confidently seems to believe.
“There’s a psychedelic orgy montage steeped in all sorts of body parts, James and Gabi popping out of their skulls on some kind of religious drug and banging each other in ecstasy that feels a lot like the one in Possessor, where Andrea Riseborough suddenly had a penis.
“This is probably one of the moments that originally gave Infinity Pool its deserved NC-17 rating.”
On October 19, Bloody Disgusting reported that Infinity Pool was cut from an NC-17 film to a tough R-rated film.
Cronenberg is the son of legendary body horror director David Cronenberg, known for classic films like The Fly and The Dead Zone.

Mia, who has received critical acclaim for her performance in recent horror productions such as Pearl and X: The Mark of Death, is the granddaughter of actress Maria Gladys.
She said in a recent interview that her grandmother was her biggest inspiration. She said: “My grandma, my Brazilian grandmother who is also an actress in Brazil.
“She has had an incredible life, been through a lot and always encouraged me to expand my universe to the fullest. I think she’s amazing.

Infinity pool: what the critics said
Pouloumi Das, The Playlist
“One of the film’s undeniable highlights is Cronenberg’s unique vision: he excels at making bloodshed look beautiful, breathlessly blending the unsettling with the magnificent to construct haunting hallucinatory sequences (in collaboration with his regular collaborator ).”
Ryan Lattanzio, IndieWire
“Stars Alexander Skarsgärd and Mia Goth deliver terrifically off-kilter performances as failing novelist and mysterious tour guide, and Cronenberg is not at all short of original ideas, but the whole thing feels bloodless, cold and clammy like a speculum.”
Meagan Navarro, bloody disgusting
“It’s not just the shocking escalation or Cronenberg’s approach that keeps Infinity Pool so captivating and occasionally off-putting, but also the engaging performances from Skarsgård and Goth. The increasingly complex levels added to James and Gabi show that Infinity Pool is far more than just the rich eating the rich.”
Ross Bonaime, Collider
“As hallucinogenic substances are introduced into the story, Cronenberg creates terrifying yet alluring imagery that combines extreme sexual imagery, unsettling elements of horror, and just plain utter ignorance of what the hell is going on.”
Nick Schager, The Daily Beast
Brandon Cronenberg takes on the challenge of matching his former owner’s feral bats and squirms into more psychosexual body-horror injuries, mutations, mutilations and Hysteria around often laughter.’
Damon Wise, deadline
“Cronenberg now goes full-on into the cinema of nightmares, with a film that gets under the skin and itches, penetrates the brain and wreaks havoc on the synapses.”
Peter Debruge – Diversity
“In so many ways, Infinity Pool is spot on (e.g. transgressive footage of erections erupting from vaginal orifices or someone breastfeeding Alexander Skarsgård). And yet this time Dark Brandon seems to have gone down the drain – and that’s where a certain contingent of horror fans want him to be.”
