The title and release date of the new one have finally been announced Avatar: The Way of Water. While waiting to hear firsthand that it would be a quality film, lead actor Sam Worthington said it would be “surprising and wonderful“.
Sam Worthington told Variety, “I was 30 when I did the first film. And when Avatar: The Way of Water comes out, I’ll be in my 50s. In the first part I was in a wheelchair, you know. And when we get there, in the fourth and fifth, I really could be in a wheelchair.”
“It’s amazing to be part of such an amazing family and to have this longevity,” Worthington continued. “Jim is a very loyal man and he keeps the same people on board, but I’m a small cog in all of this. There’s a big one creative team behind, and from what I’ve seen it’s amazing and wonderful what they’re doing. ”
Avatar, the protagonists
If the Footage from Avatar The Way of Water Cameron, who was unveiled at CinemaCon this week, talked a bit about the film in a pre-recorded video. He introduced the film’s cast and shared some information about its impressive technical aspects.
“For the first avatar, that’s what we decided to do Push the boundaries of the big screen. With the new Avatar films, we’re pushing those boundaries even further, with high dynamic range 3D, high frame rate, higher resolution and much more realistic visual effects,” said Cameron.
“But I don’t just deal with the technical side when I’m making a film actor it is the most rewarding thing and it was an amazing adventure to explore pandora again with our friends. So we chose Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Steven Lang, not to mention our new cast members Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis and this incredibly talented group of teenagers who all quickly excelled in their roles.”
“We wanted ours Back to Pandora was something very special. Every shot is engineered for the largest screen, highest resolution, and most immersive 3D available. We set out once again to push the boundaries of what cinema can do. I think we made it. I hope we succeeded. I hope when you see the film in December you will agree with me.”
