According to Antofagasta TV, the confusion erupted after an employee asked intoxicated passengers to get off the plane. Angry passengers reacted against the DGAC team. The police were called and a total of four people were arrested.

“In the first instance, two people were arrested and made available to the carabineros [polícia local]. And at that moment, employees of the DGAC noticed two other subjects who would also have been involved in the incidents. As a result, four people were arrested in connection with the incidents, one of whom received minor injuries. Meanwhile, DGAC personnel suffered six injuries, all minor,” said Major Patricio Vargas of La Portada’s 5th Precinct in an interview with the channel.
