Russian army morale is crumbling. In Cherson, Putin’s Chechens and another unit reportedly fired at each other during a dispute.
Fighting between Russian troops is said to have started in the village of Kiselivka, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry wrote on its website on Saturday. About 50 soldiers from the Buryat ethnic group and as many Chechens were reportedly shot in the face.

The reason for the internal conflict would have been the unfair distribution of the looted booty. Before the shooting, the Chechen unit is said to have stolen the loot that the Buryats had previously looted.

The unequal treatment of different ethnic groups is considered the basic reason for the dispute. While the Buryats, who come from close to Mongolia, have to fight on the front lines, the Chechens seem to be positioned far behind enemy lines.
