The Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public’s help in arresting Dushaun Thompson, a 29-year-old man suspected of stabbing, aggravated assault and robbery in Montreal. He has been at large since February 18.

Earlier this week, the 29-year-old executed two separate attacks. Last Monday, on the corner of Sainte-Catherine Est and Atateken streets in the Ville-Marie district, Mr Thompson asked another person to give him his mobile phone and headphones. Faced with that person’s refusal, he is said to have stabbed him three times. He reportedly fled south before turning onto René-Lévesque-Strasse Ost.
The next day, he allegedly committed three separate robberies in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district, early in the evening around 7:40 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. He was always armed with a knife back then.
Dushaun Thompson is the subject of a federal arrest warrant because he has been at large illegally since February 18, the SPVM said in a press release on Friday.
He is a black man who speaks English. He is 1.83 meters tall and weighs 100 kilos. He has black hair, brown eyes and teardrop tattoos under his eyes.
Dushaun Thompson is considered violent and aggressive. The SPVM therefore urges the public to exercise caution.
To get information to investigators, residents can call 911, their neighborhood station, or report anonymously to Info-crime Montréal (514-393-1133) or online.
“Info-Crime Montreal may award rewards of up to $3,000 for information leading to the arrest of suspects,” the SPVM recalled. Certain conditions apply. »
