Mélanie and her daughter Rosalie Bonenfant when she was very young. Today, like her mother, she is an actress and presenter (Deux hommes en or and Rosalie in Télé-Québec). Mélanie is mom to a son, Louis-Thomas, a part-time rapper who graduated from high school last year.

The actress, who graduated in theater from the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe and in acting from the UQAM, seduced the general public in the cult series In a galaxy near you in the skin of the technician Pétrolia, surrounded by the famous crew of the Romano Fafard spaceship, including Captain Patenaude (Guy Jodoin).

In the spring of 2004, Mélanie had just left the Camera Café gang for a wage share. For a few years, the humorous engagements followed one another, particularly with Piment Fort and Dominic and Martin. However, pregnant with her second child, she played the most beautiful role of her life at home, that of mother.
surprise of fate
In 2010, Mélanie succeeded Marie-Lise Pilote in the show Ma maison Rona on TVA (photo). The TV adventure continued for her, which was revealed in 1995 thanks to LNI. She’s still carrying on with the show Sucré salé, which she’ll be hosting this summer when she was a columnist there 18 years ago.

- Mélanie is the co-author of several plays and collaborates on Sébastien Diaz’s show We’ll tell each otherweekdays at 4 p.m. on ICI Télé.
